Meet The Face Behind Little Creek Home Inspections, LLC
I’m Alex Mescia, the proud owner of Little Creek Home Inspections, LLC. I look forward to sharing my story. I hope that you will enjoy learning more about me and my family business.
My first career after moving to NC 20 years ago from upstate NY was managing hotels for ten years. I then transitioned into the fiber optics industry for the next decade. However, my next career move happened more by chance rather than design.
Shortly after buying my first home, my one-and-a-half-year-old child fell off the porch and got injured. Luckily, he made a full recovery, but the accident should not have happened if my home inspector had informed me there needed to be a railing installed due to the height of the porch.
Consequently, I began looking into the requirements for railings, which led me to discover other necessary safety precautions in the home. I didn’t want other families to go through a similar experience and that was a huge factor in my decision to qualify as a home inspector.
After mentoring for 8 months with a highly regarded home inspector in the Raleigh area, I tested for and received my certification then started my home inspection firm. Since then, I have expanded my team to include my brother as a fellow inspector and my fiancé and sister in operational support roles. I absolutely enjoy following my passion with the support of my family. But the biggest pleasure in this journey is interacting with clients and being able to calm their fears about buying a home by helping them make informed decisions.
As part of the inspections I perform, I prioritize fire, water, safety, and health issues in the home. I believe what sets me apart from the others is my honest feedback. I also attribute my success to my incredible team and impeccable customer service. I treat people’s homes like it’s my own, and my meticulous attention to detail has built up integrity and created many success stories.
I once had a couple that called to thank me for my thoroughness, which prevented them from making a terrible decision on a home. By following my advice and inspection report, they decided to wait, they managed to secure their dream home without the worries. It’s moments like this that fill me with immense satisfaction and knowing that I can help families overcome safety and health issues in their home is rewarding.
When I’m not inspecting homes, I love family get-togethers and taking part in activities with my two boys, including baseball, fishing, and other sports. I have enjoyed sharing my story about the things which matter to me and how they influence the way we do business. If you or someone you know could benefit from my expertise as a home inspector in Clayton, NC, and the surrounding areas, I invite you to get in touch.
